This tutorial shows how to check the status of orders or shipments step by step. Furthermore, it will explain how to use the explore section to set specific dimensions and measures to further specify the desired output.
Check Order Status
To start the process of checking the order status please press Explore analytics. You will be forwarded to the analytics section.
- Click Order List: you will find a list of all recent orders, sorted by 'Creation Date'.
- Click on Filter to open filter options
- Set Filters to narrow down the results by parameters you are interested in. You can choose between the following parameters:
- Shop Name: Narrow down the results to a specific shop (if you have multiple in your Seven Senders Portal account)
- Order ID: Type in the order ID to check details of a specific order
- Order Creation Date: When the order is placed in the shop system. Filter to specify a time range, set a date or time range
- On-Time: Filter to only display orders that are on time and vice versa
- Boarding Complete: Filter on Orders from which all shipments are shipped
- Order Status: Narrow down the results to orders with a specific order status (new, paid etc.)
- Order URL: Filter by localization
- Promised Delivery Date: To specify a time range, set a date or time range
- Order Transfer Date: When the order has been transferred to Seven Senders Portal. Filter to specify a time range, set a date or time range
- Click Run to apply the filters.
- Click on a specific Order ID
- You will be able to see the order details for that specific order.
Check Shipment Status
- Click Shipment List: you will find a list of all recent shipment, sorted by 'Creation Date'.
- Click on Filter to open filter options
- Set Filters to narrow down the results by parameters you are interested in. You can choose between the following parameters:
- Shop Name: Narrow down the results to a specific shop (if you have multiple in your Seven Senders Portal account)
- Carrier Company: Specify search results by selecting a specific carrier
- Carrier Country: Select a specific carrier country to corresponding carrier
- Tracking Code: Type in the Tracking Code to check details of a specific shipment
- Order ID: Type in the order ID to check shipment details of a specific order
- Shipment Status: Narrow down the results to shipments with a specific shipment status (new, pickup, hub scan at LMC etc.)
- Planned Pickup Date: To specify a time range, set a date or time range
- Reference Number: Type in the Reference Number to check details of a specific shipment
- Customer Address Country: Narrow down your search results to a customer destination country
- Shipment Created At: To specify a time range, set a date or time range
- Return Parcel: Exclude return shipments or vice versa
- First Hub Scan Date: To specify a time range, set a date or time range
- First Delivery Attempt Date: To specify a time range, set a date or time range
- Shipment Event Name: Narrow down the results to shipments with a specific shipment event (7S hub scan, delayed etc.)
- Click Run to apply the filters.
- Click on a specific Tracking Code.
- You will be able to see the shipment details for that specific shipment.
Explore
If the filter options or shown parameters are not enough, there are two ways to further specify your searching output:
Option 1
Click on the three dots in the upper right corner in section ‘Order list’ or ‘Shipment list’ and continue by pressing Explore From Here.
You will be directed to the Explore section where you can add further dimensions or measures to the shipment list. For example, by adding the dimension ‘Customer Last Name’ you will be able to see the customer last name for each shipment in the list.
Option 2
Click on Explore analytics in the bottom left corner of the navigation menu. You will be directed to the explore section where you can set up a whole new results table to your own needs.
